Cirrus Vision Jet SF50

The Cirrus Vision Jet, Gen 2 SF50, known as the worlds first Personal Jet™, is designed and produced by Cirrus Aircraft of Duluth, Minnesota, United States. Cirrus unveiled an aircraft prototype on 26 June 2008. The first  flew on 24 March 2014, deliveries started on 19 December 2016 and by July 2020, 200 jets had been delivered.

Powered by a Williams FJ33-5A turbofan, the all-carbon fiber, low-wing, seven-seat Vision SF50 is pressurized, cruises at 300 kn (560 km/h) and has a range of over 1,200 nmi (2,200 km). For emergency use it has a whole-aircraft ballistic parachute system.

In 2018 the Vision Jet was awarded the Collier Trophy for the “greatest achievement in aeronautics or astronautics in America” during the preceding year, being the first certified single-engine civilian jet.

We have several Vision Jets on the way to Australia and many are part of a syndicate, so please send us an email if a part share might be an option for you. **Note: This aircraft is located in our hanger and you are welcome to view, however it is currently not available to train on or private hire**

*Coming Soon* Cirrus SR-20 (VH-PDX) G6 2021 Model

VH-PDX is a 2021 model G6 Cirrus SR-20.

The Cirrus SR20 is an American piston-engine, four- or five-seat composite monoplane built by Cirrus Aircraft of Duluth, Minnesota since 1999. The aircraft is the company’s earliest type-certified model, earning certification in 1998. It is powered by a Continental IO-360-ES engine of 200hp (150kw).

It was the first production general aviation (GA) aircraft equipped with a parachute to lower the airplane safely to the ground after a loss of control, structural failure or mid-air collision. The SR series was also the first mass-manufactured light aircraft with all-composite construction and flat-panel avionics.

The SR20 was developed into the Cirrus SR22, which was introduced in 2001 and is the most produced GA aircraft of the 21st century.

Cirrus SR-22 (VH-NOZ) G3 2008 Model

VH-NOZ is a 2008 model G3 Cirrus SR-22

The SR-22 is a single-engine four- or five-seat composite aircraft built by Cirrus Aircraft of Duluth, Minnesota. The SR-22 is a development of the Cirrus SR20, with a larger wing, higher fuel capacity, and a more powerful, 310-horsepower (231 kW) engine.

The SR22 series has been the world’s best-selling general aviation (GA) airplane every year since 2003. With 6,149 units delivered from 2001–19, and in combination with the SR20, a total of 7,645, it is the most-produced GA aircraft of the 21st century, and is the single most-produced GA aircraft made from composite material, accounting for over 30% of the entire piston aircraft market.

The Cirrus SR22 is equipped with a whole-plane emergency recovery parachute system: the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS). This has contributed to its market success and has given it the nickname “the plane with the parachute”.
